Where have I been?

Well, I have been M.I.A for  a while now, but I plan on posting soon. I have been in a creative funk for the past month or so. Everyday I walk by my crafting room and think I really need to get back in the swing of things.

Cold outside and stuck inside

So work is closed today and I'm stuck inside, it is very icy out. I know we did not even get it that bad, so I decided to make a card today and get out of my creative funk. Today is one of my best friends birthday, so this is for her :)

Here is a pic of 2 of my dogs out in the ice, too bad it's not snow

                                                                  Here is the card :-)

Birthday Invitations

My moms friend asked me to make birthday invites for her youngest daughter, and this is what I came up with :

I uesed Creat A Critter cart for the Cupcake and cut it at 6 inches, used glitter for the cherry and for the eyes I used IRock.

The letters I used Beyond Birthdays and cut it at 3/4 inch

For the topper I forgot to write down what I cut that at :( But or the letters I used the Beyon Birthday cart and cut that at 2 inches and also used some stickes I got at WalMart.

To package it I used Transparent Archival Bags from Michaels and blue Paper Crinkle also from Michaels.

Inital Note Card

As a part of a gift for my friend I made her some note cards. It was something quick and easy to make:

For the card I used white cardstock it was a 8 1/2 x 11 and I cut it in half so I could get 2 cards out of 1 paper.

The center strip I cut it at 2in. and the paper came from a pack I got at Hobby Lobby the name is Ella Blue.

The paper with the inital is a blue piece of cardstock with rounded edges and a inital stamp done in black ink.

I also made envlopes to go with these and used my Martha Stewart Scoring Board. I am in love with it, it's a cool tool to have.
